About Miss Amanda Bennett

Miss Amanda Bennett offers personalized homeschool and tutoring experiences in North County San Diego, designed to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. With a background in elementary education and a Master’s in Education, Amanda creates small, intentional learning environments where students feel calm, confident, and excited to learn.

Her approach blends strong academic instruction with mindfulness, helping students build not only skills in reading, writing, and math, but also focus, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. In a world full of distractions, Amanda believes children thrive when they are given space to slow down, reflect, and develop tools to regulate their thoughts and emotions.

Sessions are warm, structured, and personalized—meeting each child exactly where they are and helping them grow at their own pace.

Mindful Mentors (UCSB Volunteer Program)

In addition to her work in North County San Diego, Amanda is the founder of Mindful Mentors, a volunteer-based program that brings mindfulness lessons into elementary classrooms. Originally launched at the University of California, Santa Barbara, the program is led by passionate student volunteers who are trained to teach simple, effective mindfulness practices.

Through engaging, age-appropriate lessons—focused on breathwork, awareness, and emotional understanding—Mindful Mentors helps students build tools for managing stress, increasing focus, and navigating their emotions with confidence.

The mission is simple: to give young learners lifelong skills that support both their well-being and their success in school.
