Kids in Business is a hands-on academic enrichment POD where students in grades 2–4 learn to turn their ideas into real businesses. Meeting weekly from September through May, this small-group pod blends math, reading, writing, and communication skills with real-world application—creating an engaging and meaningful learning experience.

Throughout the year, students move through focused 6-week units in financial literacy, public speaking, writing and branding, and product design. Each unit builds essential academic skills while helping students develop confidence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

The program culminates in an exciting final project: students launch their own small business at a local Kids Market. From creating a product to pricing, marketing, and interacting with customers, students gain firsthand experience in entrepreneurship in a fun and supportive environment.

This is more than enrichment—it’s real-world learning that helps students build independence, responsibility, and skills they will carry for life.
